- Warts are common among people of all ages. For this reason, many warts are referred to as common warts. These warts usually appear on the hands and the fingers. They are rarely found alone; they tend to show up in groups or in clusters.

Like other types of warts, these warts are hard or have a rough or scratchy surface. These warts often appear where there is broken skin.

- Plain or flat warts are another common type. They tend to grow in large groups; however, they are not rough or hard to the touch. They are relatively soft.

- Planter warts are more common on the feet. This location is the reason why these planter warts are unpleasant and painful. A planter wart can appear as a single wart, or in groups. What is specific about this type is how they grow. Planter warts, because of their location, grow inwards.

- There is another type of warts that is spreading across America. They are known as genital warts. They are known as a sexually transmitted disease. These warts are most commonly spread through intercourse, even protected intercourse. Genital warts are more difficult to remove, but it can be done.
