What Are Warts?
Definition of Warts Millions of people in the U.S. develop warts, at least once in their lifetime. Warts are common and minor skin problem. Warts are small growths that appear on the skin. These growths are not cancerous. In actual fact, in most cases, warts are totally harmless. But, warts are unattractive and for this reason, lots of people want to have their warts removed. They can appear on just about any place of the body; however, they tend to take place on the feet, hands, neck and face. What causes warts? They are usually caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HVP). Also, warts can spread from one person to another person. However, not everyone is susceptible to them. In other words, you may not develop them by touching someone else’s wart, but another person could. It all depends on the health and condition of your own skin. Warts are common in children, adults, and even the elderly. The only problem is that some are painful. If you are interested in having warts removed, you should contact your local doctor.
